AUTOMOTIVE COIL and LEAF SPRINGS

All our automotive coil springs are Heavy Duty and have been designed to give an increase of 15 - 30%* in spring capacity. Aurora Springs has the capacity and know-how to manufacture coil springs for most racing applications. We are an original equipment supplier to a number of specialist vehicle manufacturers and racing teams. We have the specifications for most vehicles sold in Australia, while we can manufacture a vehicle spring from a sample or drawing. Aurora automotive coils springs are manufactured to the requirements of relevant Australian Standards.

MANUFACTURING

Aurora automotive coil springs are made of a specially developed micro alloyed spring steel developed by B.H.P. This material known as grade X4K92M61S has been designed to withstand higher operating stresses, with superior resistance to sag and with fatigue properties at least equivalent to conventional spring steels. To further ensure a long failure free life of Aurora springs we shot peen each spring before applying the required surface finish. See here for more information on how we make a spring. SPECIFICATIONS

We generally manufacture Aurora automotive coil springs in three specifications, but can vary these specifications to your individual requirements. Available in 3 height specifications -

• Raised spring (approximately 12-25 m.m.* above standard height)
• Standard spring
• Lowered spring (approximately 25-40 m.m.* below standard height)

We only carry spring specifications for Australian delivered vehicles, therefore we will require your vehicles spring specifications if your vehicle was not delivered new in Australia. Please contact us for details that we require.
